2010 February « We’ll see how things go

If its one thing i have come to realise this week, it is this. Man is foolish. We think we are smart, we think we are wise, we think we have obtained all we can, but God comes DOWN from the heavens and laughs at our inadequacy. Really, who are we to boast in knowing God better than another, or calim we are right and they are wrong? From the eyes of the creator, He laughs at his creation, because no matter how much they think they know, they still know nothing. That is a humbling thought, especially because our God still uses us imperfect beings for the Glory of the Father. Amen to that.

Dear Lord may i never be so proud as to forget that apart from you i am nothing. In Jesus name.

To God be the Glory.

Amos

Amos. Hebrewic origin, was born a burden to his family. He went into Gods work as a prophet and thus became a burden bearer. This modern day counterpart strives always to never be a burden to others and at the same time tries to be as best a friend he can be to ease others of their pains, cos ultimately, this love he is sharing is Gods love, and thats the way to go. Has many great friends many of which he counts as all the blessings he would ever need like his god siblings, his cell group and cell leaders. Held right to his heart though are the greatest blessings ever bestowed on him like grace, salvation, victory, faithfulness and discernment. Considers himself very sociable and glib he is, for he loves to use what he says to get himself out of sticky situations, often getting himself into more trouble in the long run. He seldom writes what he feels neither does he show it and thus makes it hard for people to see much beyond the surface. Besides his closest buddies who can read him like a book, others have trouble getting past the covour! Find out what Amos is like yourself if you dare to take up the challenge, just remember never to take anything you read here at face value. Almost everything means everything else.
